　Thompson School rebuild approved by Town Meeting 5/16

• Thompson was built in 1955 and most mechanical systems are failing.
• Demolition would start fall 2011 and the new school could open in fall of 2013.
• As a part of this plan, we’ll have to re-district.
• Thompson students will be accommodated at other elementary schools (Hardy, Stratton - and Bishop too if the override passes).
• Funding: (the town expects 47.2% reimbursement from the state) $6.7 million will come from the debt exclusion override approved in 2000. $8.5 million will come from the state. $3 million will come from the sale/lease of Parmenter and Crosby. There is an additional $2 million from smaller sources

　確かお兄ちゃんが低学年の頃から　「建て直し計画」はすすんでた。でもお金の問題もあって、なかなかたいへんだったのよね。

建て直しの為の募金集めもしたなあ。。。

懐かしい校舎。壊してしまうのね。

その前にもう一度、学校の中を家族で歩いてみたいなあ．．．
