お客さまから 素敵な写真が届きました♪

Every time I go over last year's photos and I run into this one, it grabs my eye. Not only I love the occasion (it was after Dance for World Community, organized by @josemateoballettheatre) and love the girls who danced with me (the beautiful Sarab-Mirage local troupe 2018 members @ellajolo and @mj_sanam) and leave aside that there are mermaids in the mural behind us. But the colors... Colors can affect how we feel subconsciously. Color meaning and psychology is based primarily on instinct and emotion. The costumes the Sarab dancers are wearing here were designed by me. I personally went to the fabric stores and searched and searched, and this multicolor lycra was the fabric that caught my eye. I fell in love with all those bright colors! I guess that, according to Van Gogh, this just speaks about the enthusiasm that dancing and everything related to my dance projects brings to my life! The black mesh was perfect to combine with the lycra and finalize the look. The multicolor costumes I envisioned were finally made real by @studiohyacinth. The photo was taken by a local belly dance fan, Mr. @jamesmccloskey3 -- thank you! How someone feels about a color or design is entirely up to the individual and there are no right or wrong answers. However the way we feel about color can often be attributed to our subconscious and history, as well as personal preference. What is your favorite color and do you know why it may be? And for you, belly dancers: What color you tend to when thinking of a new dance costume? #bellydancelife #bellydancelove #bellydance #bellydancecolor #bellydancequeens #lovedancing #bellydancersofinstagram #instabellydancers #bellymaniacas #orientalisimo #bellydancegroup #bellydancelovers #bellydanceart #bellydancemermaid #harvardsquare #cambridgema #colorfulartwork #colorfuldesign #enthusiasm #rainbow #colorofenthusiasm #vangoghfrases #vangogh #bellydanceclasses #bellydancerslife #bellydancecostume #lycra
